Your First Visit

Firstly you will fill out some basic paperwork regarding your health history. You will then meet your chiropractor and a full case history will be taken.

A thorough physical examination including orthopaedic and neurological tests will follow so that the chiropractor can assess the neuromusculoskeletal system (nerves, muscles, and joints). Should it be required – examination of the abdomen, cardiovascular, or respiratory systems may also be carried out.

Normally we will need to see you for about 30 minutes for one condition/area to assess and approximately 45 minutes for two. Please arrive 15 minutes before your appointment to allow time to complete administration formalities.

The chiropractor will then study the results, make a diagnosis and then in accordance with regulatory guidelines give you a complete report of findings (1st or second visit).

You will be given either a soft tissue / massage treatment or a full chiropractic treatment depending on the type of initial session booked.
